How It Works
The following poster types are available for waste awareness promotion:
- Campus General Recycling Point: a series of posters to help encourage staff and students to use recycling points. You can use these posters to signpost to, and raise awareness of recycling points. This type of poster can be placed on notice boards across your campus.
- Campus Ticklist Recycling Point: a series of posters to help staff and students put the correct recyclates in your recycling points. You can use these posters to explain what can and cannot be placed in each specific recycling point. This type of poster should be placed on or near your recycling points.
The following links provide pop-up examples of completed posters detailing the key messages that you can promote to students and staff.

The poster creator now has the following features to make it easier to manage your posters:
- Print Preview Facility: when you are creating or editing a poster, you can use the 'Print Preview' button to see what it will look like before you finish.
- Save Facility: no new posters or edit changes will be saved unless you use the 'Save' button. If you go back to the Overview page without saving, a new poster will not be saved to your poster list and an existing poster will not be edited.
- Image Edit: change the name and/or source file of an image in your uploaded image collection.
- Image Swap: swap one image for another in your uploaded image collection so that you can quickly change which one appears in your posters.
The poster creator provides basic poster design templates that you can change to suit your individual needs. You can personalise each poster by adding your own text and images.
When you save a poster, the additional personalised details you have added are stored in our database rather than an image file of your poster. When you open a poster, the poster creator uses Adobe Acrobat Reader to create the image file on the fly. Once you have it open you may then save it as a pdf image file on your own computer or network.
This makes the poster creator faster and more efficient, and means there is no limit to the number of posters you can have.

Help and Instructions
The help and instructions have been placed here so that you do not have to leave the section of the poster creator you are in whilst looking up instructions or help. Each subject covers instructions and troubleshooting. Please have a look at 'Useful Tips' to help you get the most out of the poster creator. View poster help file here.
Note: Clicking 'Back' will ALWAYS return you to the Overview page. If you do this before performing an action, such as saving a poster or amending your account, the action will not be performed. If you do this after performing an action, this will not undo the action but just return you to the Overview page without performing any further actions.
