Cardboard Furniture
Clydebank College’s Interior Design students have used their design skills to build furniture made from recycled cardboard. One chair dubbed the ‘Love-Seat’ was made from 80 layers of doubled fluted corrugated cardboard sheets, with the arms comprising of over
160 single sheets. These sheets of cardboard were laminated by
hand using PVA Glue and then machine-cut as whole sections.
