People and Planet is a national student network campaigning to end world poverty, defend human rights and protect the environment.  Their website contains information about joining or setting up a local group. Changing attitudes and behaviour toward waste and other environmental issues requires lots of time, commitment and enthusiasm.  There are lots of established groups who are raising awareness of, and campaigning for environmental causes, you would be welcome to join them or set up a group of your own!
